Jenna Stripped

I AM YOUR FANTASY.

I’m so sick of people saying stripping is an easy job.

I am so thankful that I didn’t lose myself to this industry. If I had to tell a beginner one thing, it would be to leave your true self outside the door when you walk in and leave your alter ego at the door when you leave. Never let the two mix. That’s when the problems begin.

When I had first started, I was so close to losing myself. I was so absorbed in being someone other than myself that i started doing nothing but thinking and talking about the job. I tried to sabotage my own relationships to lose myself without even realizing it. It can sneak up on you. DO NOT LOSE YOURSELF. Find a happy medium. Learn how to separate the two.

Honestly, its emotionally and physically exhausting. Don’t overwork yourself. I find it to be more emotionally exhausting than physically. Physically, you get used to it.. emotionally, you don’t. Your relationships will get strained. You’ll have to lie constantly. It gets tiring. When you feel like you need a break, TAKE ONE.

You have to develop thick skin. Some men won’t like you, everybody goes through that. You’ll have nights where you see every other girl go back for dances and you get none. You can’t let it affect you. I’ve had girls in that bashed me to my face, you have to ignore it. You’ll have men treat you like you’re nothing but a piece of ass. You’ll have men violate you. You’ll have perverts hitting on you. Your bosses might even be those people. You’ll see people you know, word will get out. People will start seeing you as nothing but a piece of trash.

This job may be hard, but don’t make drinking a habit. I’m struggling with this myself right now. I don’t drink anywhere else but work, but its starting to become a terrible habit. First off, a drink or two isn’t bad if you don’t have to drive, but once you start getting trashed, problems can happen. Your loosened up, so you’ll begin to push the bar a little bit. You’ll flirt a little more and do things you don’t usually do, which can get you in trouble or hurt. More importantly than that, you aren’t as alert. The guys know you’re drunk, so they’ll try to get away with more, which puts you in danger. You probably see the better in people, so you’ll go up to someone you know you shouldn’t. You’re loosened up so might give out a little more information than you should. Guys can also end up drugging you. All these things could put you in major danger, so please girls (and myself) watch how much you drink.

It’s really not as glamorous as it seems..
